This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a pilot project across nine womens prisons supporting women with their family ties three months pre-release and a minimum of two weeks post-release; linking them into ongoing provision within the community.
As a Lead Family Resettlement Worker, you will lead and deliver a service that ensures prisoners, their children, carers and other relatives have access to appropriate advice, guidance, learning opportunities, care and support to better enable them to maintain or enhance positive relationships.
You will assist in developing referral pathways for families, prisoners and other professionals to access the service working in partnership with existing family service providers operating within the prison.
