James Ray are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning, innovative law firm based in Leeds. The firm are seeking passionate Family Law Solicitors to join their dedicated team. They are committed to fostering the professional growth and development of their staff.
Duties:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence cases
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues
- Prepare legal documents such as petitions, affidavits, and court pleadings
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
- Collaborate with other professionals such as barristers, social workers, and counsellors to provide comprehensive support to clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
- Attend client meetings and provide clear explanations of legal rights and options
- Stay updated on changes in family law legislation and precedents
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with a valid practicing certificate
- Proven experience in family law practice
- Strong knowledge of family law legislation and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Proficient in using IT systems and software relevant to legal practice
