If you share our racer’s spirit and want to contribute to the next chapter in Aston Martin’s glorious history, please apply and join one of the most exciting projects in Formula One.We have a new opportunity to be part of the Facilities team in the role of Facility Maintenance Manager.Purpose:Responsible for all maintenance, asset and equipment compliance activities required to operate the Aston Martin F1 Technical Campus and satellite sites in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner to ensure high levels of operational availability.Responsible for the development and management of the Maintenance Team supporting a 24 hour/365 days per year facility.Design, implementation and management of statutory inspection regimes, operational, shutdown and planned maintenance regimes and plans.All works are executed in accordance with our Safe System of Work and the protection of people, plant and the environment are at the core of every activity.Leading, developing and motivating the Maintenance Team to deliver first class maintenance services across the Technical CampusMaintenance Team personnel planning and management.Oversee all ongoing maintenance & improvement projects.Development, control and optimisation of maintenance budgets.Constantly reduce the Campus energy usage through the BMS, assets, equipment and working practicesReport on maintenance activities and performance indicatorsIn this role your responsibilities will be:The appointment, co-ordination, supervision, and management of Facilities resource and third party contractorsManage and maintain statutory requirements and maintenanceMaintain site records and FM jobs request databaseTo manage Maintenance spend and contractor performance in line with budget constraints.Coordinating the implementation of new plant and alterations to plantCoordinating permit to work and Lock out tag out as requiredAbility to produce accurate work whilst working within agreed timescaleRespond to breakdowns and fault diagnosis. Use root cause analysis to correct and prevent future failureManage TPM and PPM systems ensuring they are correct and up to date at all timesManage planned and reactive maintenance and servicingManage key spare parts inventory to help reduce machine and asset downtime Manage spares and service budgets identifying opportunities for reducing spendWork alone or as part of a team being proactive, work responsibly, and professionally always and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structureAny other duties as reasonably requested aligned to you job roleKey skills:Possess an excellent working knowledge of the Campus Infrastructure BMS (Schneider), ASHP & AHU (Daikin), Fan Coil Units, Pumps (Grundfos), Motors, Valves, Chilled BeamPosses an excellent working knowledge of the Manufacturing plant and associated equipment Compressed Air, Hydraulic Power Pack, LEV (dust and fume), CNC Machines (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, sensors etc)Highly organised and analyticNEBOSH or IOSH preferred/desired Workshop health safety and environmental controlsAbility to maintain the Asset Management (CAFM system) including OEM manuals, technical documents, service records and interpret into usable systemsPrevious experience as BMS and maintenance engineer To be a collaborative team player who is self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environmentAbility to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve tight targets and deliver results within required timescalesTo communicate effectively, positively, and respectfully with all colleagues.
