Opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join an international manufacturing group based at their site in the West Midlands.

Description

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for Total Facilities Management / Grounds Maintenance for the site through management of external contractors.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Energy champion for site, responsible for maintaining measures, identifying, and implementing savings.
  • Tender for new suppliers / contractors.
  • Lead facilities HSE adherence in conjunction with local HSE and SLT teams.
  • Identify and project manage facilities improvement projects through to successful completion.
  • Contractor management and the ability to prioritise and understand the impact of decisions made is key.
  • Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills with peers and third-party suppliers.
  • Manage CAPEX projects

Profile

  • Facilities Management experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of Mechanical / Electrical Building Services
  • Excellent communication skills
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Able to understand engineering drawings / schematics
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Previous experience delivering CAPEX projects
