Opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join an international manufacturing group based at their site in the West Midlands.
Description
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for Total Facilities Management / Grounds Maintenance for the site through management of external contractors.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Energy champion for site, responsible for maintaining measures, identifying, and implementing savings.
- Tender for new suppliers / contractors.
- Lead facilities HSE adherence in conjunction with local HSE and SLT teams.
- Identify and project manage facilities improvement projects through to successful completion.
- Contractor management and the ability to prioritise and understand the impact of decisions made is key.
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills with peers and third-party suppliers.
- Manage CAPEX projects
Profile
- Facilities Management experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment is essential
- Excellent knowledge of Mechanical / Electrical Building Services
- Excellent communication skills
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Able to understand engineering drawings / schematics
- Experience managing budgets
- Previous experience delivering CAPEX projects
