Job DescriptionRole: Facilities Management Assistant Location: London, SE21Job reference: FMA9612Package details:Salary - £25,065 - £27,290 with an additional annual allowance of £3,500 in consideration of the unsocial working hours. Working hours will operate a two-week alternating rota:Week 1- Monday – Friday – 10am- 7pmWeek2 – Tuesday& Wednesday 2pm-10.00pm, Thursday and Friday 1.00pm to 10.00pm and Saturday 7am-6pmFree school lunchesLife assuranceEnhanced sickness, maternity , paternity and adoption pay entitlements. Cycle to work schemeSchool fee remissionHealthcare Cash Plan SchemeOverview of the role: M/LK Education Search is currently working with an independent preparatory school who are seeking a Facilities Management Assistant to join their team. Key Responsibilities:Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the school and its property, including the Sports Hall, Pavillions, shower block, swimming pool facilities, etc.Keep the communal areas and stores tidy and well-organised.Set out rooms and halls in preparation for meetings, plays, concerts and other events.Report and rectify (where appropriate) any faults, problems or damage to the school’s buildings.Maintain the swimming pool plant and test the water.Undertake testing of fire alarm, emergency lighting, legionella, fire.Maintain equipment, play areas, play pitches and play apparatus, with particular regard for pupils’ health and safetyUndertake driving tasks for the transportation of staff/pupils and delivery of goods.Requirements:Promote and safeguard the welfare of pupils for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.Maintain high professional standards of attendance, punctuality, appearance and conduct, ensuring uniform is worn at all times.Maintain positive, courteous relations with pupils, parents and colleagues.Promte the good name and reputation of the School and adhere to School policies and procedures.To apply, please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to ##### or, alternatively, submit your application via the link below.Aine McNulty – Associate Recruitment Consultant - 0151 209 2050At MLK, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion and collaboration.
