Our client based in Leeds is currently looking to recruit a Facilities Maintenance operative for their impressive state of the art manufacturing organization who offers specialist sub-contract welding and fabrication services.
As a Facilities Maintenance Operative you can expect permanent employment from day one and the chance to work in a modern manufacturing facility with a Renumeration package of �28,000 - �30,000 per annum plus overtime depending on experience.
Ideally, the successful Facilities Maintenance operative will have:

  • Previous experience working in a similar position.
  • IPAF training and a in date IPAF card would be advantageous
  • Electrical qualifications
  • The ability to react effectively to unplanned maintenance issues

Responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance operative:

  • Maintaining the welfare facilities, i.e. repairing leaking pipes & Taps
  • Fitting new E-Stop buttons on control pendants
  • Paint & decorate areas of the factory as required
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment such as - blow out welding machines, inspect ladders, cranes & hoists


Working Hours of the Facilities Maintenance operative:

  • Monday to Thursday - 7:30am to 4:00pm
  • Friday - 7:30am to 12:00pm


In return, the successful Facilities Maintenance operative will receive:

  • Renumeration: �28,000 to �30,000
  • Holiday Allowance: 28 Days rising to 33 days per annum.
  • Statutory Pension Scheme
  • Permanent employment from day one
