5D Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading engineering based in Stamford.  They are market leaders in designing and manufacturing bespoke, special purpose machinery. 

Supplying to a variety of industries including the power generation, and automotive markets, they have long lasting agreements with some of the biggest companies all over the world. 

As a result of continued growth, and expanding to a second facility in the near future, they are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join there ever-growing team. 

What the role will include: 

• Reactive and preventative maintenance across two sites.  The majority of the role will be focussed on the facilities and fabric of the building, including plumbing and single phase electrical systems.


• Responsible for managing all contractors on site - this could be specialist maintenance contractors, through to cleaning and hygiene contractors.


• General repairs to the fabric of the building including; repairing doors, windows, painting, basic plumbing, and minor fixes to the decor.


• Working on PPM's and basic breakdowns of shop floor machinery.  If the task is too complex, then you will be contacting and liaising with specialist contractors for them to come in and repair the machinery to get it operational.

What we are looking for in the Successful Candidate:

• 5 years’ experience facilities maintenance 


• Experience with dealing with sub-contractors and the relevant documentation/ processes. 


• Understanding of machine maintenance 


• Driving licence - as you'll be commuting between sites.


• IT literate
