Job Title: Facilities 
Location: Huntingdon
Salary £12-£14ph DOE


Hours/Shifts: 4 on 4 off

Work with the on-site team, including Facilities Manager, to ensure Health & Safety policies are adhered both with internal staff and external subcontractors, and to ensure a positive and effective team approach when delivering contract requirements.
Duties Include.


  • To ensure the regular (Daily, Monthly, Yearly) maintenance of company production equipment/facility, taking care of failures, deviations and repairs.
  • Maintenance in accordance with the relevant requirements of certificates (special operation: electrician, working at heights, pressure vessel etc.
  • Inspecting machinery, equipment, buildings, and systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and factory systems to identify any issues.
  • Completing repairs such as fixing locks, leaky taps, changing lights and broken windows
  • Checking and maintaining safety equipment such as fire alarms, fire extinguishers, Sprinklers
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting problems and issues reported
  • Following a maintenance schedule to ensure that all routine tasks are completed (Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures)
  • Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
  • Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
  • Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
  • Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing and carpentry etc.
  • Continue improvements, save repairing cost


Requirements:


  • Previous experience in maintenance or handy person roles.
  • Basic use of hand tools and relevant plumbing or electrical
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
