I am currently working with a leading FM provider looking for an experienced Facilities contracts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, this role will be a site based position Over seeing a large commercial sites in Swindon. This person will be responsible for over seeing all facilities maintenance in site including Mechanical, electrical and fabric engineers.
Package will include:
Competitive salary up to £52,000

Training and DevelopmentRole Summary:
Daily management of the on site maintenance team including compliance with disciplinary processes and procedures.
To direct, instruct and manage all staff under their control ensuring compliance with working practices.
To complete the weekly operations report to the client and attend weekly operations meeting, client meetings as requested, in conjunction with the client.
Ensure that all matters that may impact the smooth running of the building and facilities are immediately reported to both the company and the client's Senior Management.
To conduct regular reviews of operating procedures making recommendations for improvement with appropriate working practices and emergency/contingency procedures within the critical systems.
Development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.Experience Required:
Experience in a simile positions ideally within the Building Services industry.
Technically qualified within mechanical or electrical background
Strong communication skills.Ability to lead, motivate and direct a team of technicians/operatives.
Possess an understanding of Health and Safety issues.
Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
Previous operational experience of facilities management including hard and soft services (M&E, catering, security, cleaning, grounds maintenance)
