Job Description Facilities ManagementImplementing and monitoring the effectiveness of required security controlsResponsible for conducting regular audits of physical security measures to ensure they are kept under constant review and are adequate to meet current threats to business e.g. control of access, alarm access, keys & key holder responsibilities, Secure Storage procedures, CCTV, vehicle satellite tracking, vehicle panic alarms, employee access controls (fobs and sign in system) - promote a best practice security culture company-wideProduce and maintain a comprehensive database of all assets within CTS, to include serial and asset numbersConduct a yearly 100% check of the inventory, ensuring a pro-rata apportionment of departmental assets are checkedSecurityAlign security functionality with AWE security officer, ensuring compliance and protocols are effective and adjoined, providing proportionate configuration with contractual obligations.Implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of required security controlsPreparing and implementing Company Security PlansSecurity Risk Management & emergency proceduresSecurity Operating ProceduresSecurity incident management process and reporting to the Contractual Authority or PSyA;Maintaining clearances within the company (delegated responsibility to Security Vetting Officer)GeneralTo be the first point of contact for all facility queries and concerns.Raise POs for parts/consumables/sub-contractor worksDevelop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customersMaintenance of all grounds at each siteStock and storage of all equipment including maintenance and cleanliness of all storage areasMonitoring of gas and electricity systems, water systems and sewage systemsSafety inspections on electrical equipment and maintaining inventory recordTo be accountable for updating and distributing employee ID badges, keys and fobs The Successful ApplicantHealth and Safety trained, IOSH or similarProject managementDISA Security Controller CertificateLogical and methodical with good attention to detailGood communication skillsGood organisational skills with the ability to keep a number of tasks live at any one timeGood practical skills - mechanical, electrical, general building, plumbing etcComputer literate especially in Microsoft Excel and Word and the ability to create and manipulate dataCurrent valid driving licence What's on Offer Generous employee benefits including flexible working, pension, life assurance, 5 days' annual company sick pay, 20 days holiday plus BHs with the ability to build up service days.
