Emanuel School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to develop their skills and experience in facilities management.As Facilities and Security Officer, you will undertake a wide range of facilities, security and emergency responsibilities. This will include car park management, security and gate duties, minor maintenance, deliveries, events setups and additional estates-related activities.We are looking for an organised, efficient and reliable individual, with excellent communication, team working and problem-solving skills. Ideally, candidates will have experience in a similar role as well as relevant knowledge and qualifications, but this is not essential, as there will be a great deal of on-the-job learning.This is a 4-day, 40 hour a week contract. Routine hours on a weekend when acting as a security guard are Saturday and Sunday 7.00am -5.30pm. Working hours as a Facilities Operative on Monday and Friday will be 6.00am – 5.45pm. A 12-hour weekend shift may be required depending upon facilities bookings in the evening. Working hours will be flexible outside of term time, working from Monday to Friday.Working at EmanuelThere is a genuine buzz at the school.
