Fabrication Supervisor

Fabrication Supervisor Ashford CGBP30k + monthly bonus OTE GBP37K This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fabrication Supervisor to join a busy Manufacturing business who are at an exciting point of expansion, in their plush facilities based in Ashford! As Fabrication Supervisor, your duties will include:
Encouraging and motivating the fabrication team to reach KPIs and be productive with workload. Dealing with breakdowns and fixing any problems with CNC machines and any other tools, in order to limit downtime.
Hands on machining, fabrication and manual work as required.
Confirming all materials are available and ready for use in good time; administrative duties. Driving fork lifts where required Ensuring Health & Safety guidelines are being adhered to at all times.
The successful Fabricator / Saw Operator will have / be:
Fabrication experience within a Manufacturing company Previous experience working from technical drawings and/or diagrams. Able to work effectively as a team, in order to promote cost effective production, whilst maintaining high levels of product quality. A good work ethic with excellent skills A passion for manual work A good attention to detail
Good numeracy skills, as well as the ability to use MS Excel.
