Key Responsibilities Responsibility for fabric related PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceededResponsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include exterior works, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry related tasksExternal ground works maintenance dutiesTo provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rotaTo undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to WorkEnsure that all equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteriaEnsure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Significant experience in providing plumbing, carpentry and fabric related building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance and installationSignificant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenanceExperience of working within FM or building services within commercial propertiesExperience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statementsQualificationsIf plumbing bias Fabric Engineer as follows:-NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in plumbingNVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent in HVAC, mechanical engineering or equivalent with plumbing qualifications.If carpentry bias Fabric Engineer as follows:-NVQ/City & Guilds in carpentry or woodworking or related trade qualification.ORTime served multi trades operative / handyperson who has considerable carpentry and joinery experience.
