As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Fabric Admin Assistant to join our design department here at Hobbs and Whistles. This opportunity will see you focus on administration in the fabric team across the two brands.
In this role you will be working in close collaboration with the Head of Fabric, Fabric Coordinator and Junior Fabric Coordinator to ensure timely administration and development of fabrics for our seasonal collections. Key accountabilities include:
Assisting with fabric mill appointments and visits as needed for both brands
Contacting fabric mills for sample availability and pricing information as required, building working relationships with key supplier mills
Assisting with sending out and processing sourcing requests
Ensuring all fabric and trims information is accurately added to the fabric tracker and sample orders are updated on the system
Ongoing upkeep and maintenance of the in-house fabric libraries across both brands
Managing post and assisting with research and prep for fabric trend boards, reports and department strategy documents About You
We are looking for the Fabric Admin Assistant to demonstrate excellent administration skills and attention to detail. An interest in fabrics and textiles is required for success in this role. This opportunity will see you work across both the Hobbs and Whistles brands, so collaboration and organisation skills are key.
