Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning in our EYFS classrooms, contributing to the academic, social, and emotional development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the EYFS teachers in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities and lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to children, reinforcing learning concepts and assisting with activities.
  • Support the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources for EYFS activities.
  • Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all children feel safe, valued, and supported.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents to promote the overall well-being and progress of children in the EYFS.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), is advantageous but not essential.
  • Passion for working with young children and a commitment to supporting their development in the crucial early years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
