The Role

Prospero Teaching is looking for a positive and reliable teacher to work in EYFS in an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in Preston. The position is to start in March and will continue until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role and the school welcomes applications from teachers with experience in EYFS and KS1, but would ideally like to appoint a teacher who has worked in EYFS before. They are looking for a teacher with excellent curriculum knowledge, and a creative, inspirational approach, who can maintain the children's enthusiasm for learning. A strong, positive style of behaviour management is essential, and the school particularly like people who go above and beyond to build good relationships with the children, and make them feel safe, valued, and confident in their learning.

The school has high expectations of pupils. Staff work hard to maintain high-quality provision in school, to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children. Both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply for this position.

The successful applicant will be:

• Experienced with the UK curriculum
• Confident with teaching in EYFS
• Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
• Available until July 2024
• Skilled in assessing attainment and progress in EYFS

The successful Nursery Teacher will have the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with Primary specialism
• A degree and PGCE, or equivalent
• UK classroom experience in EYFS
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• References covering the last 2 years
• Have a fully enhanced DBS on the online update service, or be prepared to process a new one at a cost of �45.80
