Extrusion Machine Operator

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client - a leading UK Packaging Company in their search for a Extrusion Machine Operator to join their Winsford based manufacturing site
For the successful Extrusion Machine Operator our client is offering:

• £30,183-£35,763 per annum, depending on experience
• Shifts are 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am rotating
• Permanent position
• Company pension

The role - Extrusion Machine Operator:

• To operate production machinery safely in order to produce the product to the correct customer specification
• Ensure raw material supplies and material feed are maintained.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (Health and Safety, Quality, Hygiene, PPE and Production)
• Ensure that all Quality Assurance checks are carried out so that defective quality products do not reach the customer

What our client are looking for in the Extrusion Machine Operator:

• Demonstratable recent machine operating experience - ESSENTIAL
• Previous extrusion operating experience would be advantageous, but not essential, as full training will be given.
• Has a practical mind with some basic mechanical knowledge
• Has great attention to detail
• Stability in work history
• Proven work ethic and excellent attendance record
