Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall operation of the Extra Care scheme, including staff supervision, resident services, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure the delivery of person-centered care that meets the individual needs and preferences of each resident.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external partners.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety guidelines.
- Implement programs and activities to promote social engagement, physical well-being, and mental stimulation among residents.
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation for the Extra Care scheme.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the social care sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Understanding of person-centered care principles and a commitment to promoting independence and dignity.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in adult social care.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
