Are you a compassionate and driven individual with a passion for helping others live independently? We are seeking an enthusiastic Extra Care Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an�Extra Care scheme and ensure the well-being and satisfaction of residents.



Responsibilities:




  • Manage the overall operation of the Extra Care scheme, including staff supervision, resident services, and facility maintenance.

  • Ensure the delivery of person-centered care that meets the individual needs and preferences of each resident.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external partners.

  • Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety guidelines.

  • Implement programs and activities to promote social engagement, physical well-being, and mental stimulation among residents.

  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation for the Extra Care scheme.



Requirements:




  • Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the social care sector.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.

  • Understanding of person-centered care principles and a commitment to promoting independence and dignity.

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in adult social care.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • QCF Level 5 or working towards
