This is a blended role combining Member Engagement with Exposure Management within the Actuarial Services team, seeking to improve the quality of data supplied by their Members which will be used in the annual pricing of reinsurance contracts from April 25.Location: LondonType: PermanentKey responsibilities:Understanding Member companies’ data systems and capabilitiesAttending Member Audits with the Underwriting team, leading on the exposure management review processWorking with Underwriting to ensure the full capture of Members’ liabilities within their annual exposure returnUnderstanding and maintaining Data Collection Tool including VBA code, enhancing where appropriate and incorporating new checksLiaising with members to correct and scrub data, providing full audit of data changes – and enhancing tool based on common data issuesRevising and keeping up to date documentation of processHighlighting those areas/clauses which would impact the amount of a loss (not just the TSI)Provide general data analysis support on any other data used within the Actuarial Services departmentACII qualified with 10 years’ experienceExcellent understanding of exposure management principles and processesIn depth knowledge of UK commercial property policy wordingsUnderstanding and experience of extraction of data from systems and system architecture – not just running reports but understanding the art of the possibleGood communication – will be dealing with members directly
