Our well established client specialises in supplying packaging raw materials and machinery to manufacturing companies based here in the UK and Overseas.



We are looking for a candidate with a STRONG background in international Trading



This is a great opportunity for someone to grow in international trading and focus on the marketing and distributing of various steel�products to Middle East, Europe and Africa



Key Requirements:




  • Minimum 7 years of International Trading experience (knowledge of packaging raw materials as advantage)

  • Able to multi-task

  • Able to build relationships with customers and suppliers.

  • Team player and ability to work with different nationalities.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Travels to overseas field offices, suppliers, and customers

  • Interpersonal and customer- service skills.

  • Knowledge of product and sector.

  • Knowledge import/export procedures including�Incoterms.



Duties Include:




  • Drive the existing business and develop new customers and products.

  • Cooperate and liaise with international customers and suppliers.

  • Regular reporting on sales and marketing activity.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets in line with the company strategy and defined�KPI's.

  • Identify potential within new and existing customers with a view to growing the UK & Overseas turnover in line with the business extensive growth plans.

  • Deliver a high level of customer service through value-add sales techniques concentrating on a multitude of market sectors.

  • Work closely with your internally based colleagues as well as the regional offices to achieve the designated growth targets.
