Export Coordinator

Air Export Coordinator – Tilbury, Essex – Up to £35,000
An experienced Export Coordinator is required for a successful Freight Forwarder based in Tilbury, Essex
The successful Export Coordinator will be tasked to complete all things Air freight from start to finish.
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 09:00am to 17:00pm – Monday to Friday
The Package:
Salary £25,000- £35,000 (DOE)
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Pension – company contribution
Annual performance bonus
Job responsibilities:
Communicating with customers, hauliers and carriers.
Arranging bookings with lines and carriers.
Arranging collections making sure to meet vessel/ flight deadlines.
Completing customs entries.
Raising export documentation and manifests.
Checking with warehouses that screening and check weighing have been completed.
Finalising all documentation
Checking vessels/flights have been met.
Invoicing and sending pre-alerts
Requirements:
Two years’ experience minimum in export operations in airfreight. (UK-based experience only)
Experience completing export documentation, including checking country requirements and raising Certificates of origin if required.
Experience in completing customs declarations.
Experience of CNS and Destin8.
Experience of Multi-freight.
