Customers such as Airbnb, Viber, Whatsapp, Snapchat, and many others depend on our APIs and SDKs to connect with their customers all over the world.Why this role mattersAs Vonage API Platform global communication networks and channels grow the greater the need for implementing carrier and country regulation changes and fraud management to stop bad actors using our platform.This is a pivotal role in the Product Team working transversely with our Product Managers and business owners to solve and assist in the implementation of software based fraud and vetting products.We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead product development of our anti-fraud and vetting portfolio. As an expert product manager within the team you will be responsible for driving innovation within the portfolio, prototyping and developing new solutions and driving growth across the portfolio as well as supporting core product managers with product development and delivery of the existing portfolio. What you will doOwn the Vonage fraud prevention roadmap by working with Carrier, Security, Legal, and individual Product Managers to provide technical solutions and manage deliveryResearch and test new anti-fraud innovations, build prototypes, evaluate solutions and develop business cases for new product development.Work with customers, partners, internal stakeholders and industry bodies to identify new market opportunities for growth, and to foster constructive industry collaboration to protect customers, end consumers, and carriers. Provide technical leadership to support experienced Product Managers through the product development process of developing technical solutions to address anti-fraud requirementsWork with the Head of Fraud & Regulatory Product on portfolio strategy, quarterly business reporting & planning cycles.What you will bringExperience working on-the-ground delivering fraud or compliance solutions for SaaS providers or similar servicesSubject matter expertise on fraud attack vectors and regulatory compliance requirementsUnderstanding of software development and processes within security and compliance realmAbility to work with different stakeholders across the business from software Engineers through to Finance, Security, Legal and Operations teamsWhat is required for applicationRequiredStrong knowledge and experience in areas including telecom fraud and regulations, KYC, and Data Sovereignty, Cloud SecurityPrevious experience of working with engineers to identify and implement fraud and compliance fixes and solutionsStrong knowledge in data protection and compliance, security-oriented cloud services, fraud vector analytics, and threat detection and preventionProven experience working as a business subject matter expert or in a leadership capacity within fraud & regulationsMinimum 3 years experience in a relevant sector and functionMinimum 3 years of Product or Operational Management experienceExperience in telco, cloud or finance industries preferred Computer Science degree or similar technical qualification or BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or related fieldIn-depth knowledge of telecom industry’s compliance and regulationsMethodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilitiesAn analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulationsExperience with Agile methodologies & tools (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)Experience using Jira, Confluence and project management toolsAble to work with data in formats such as CSV, XML, JSON, etc.What is in it for youIn addition to providing exciting work, career advancement opportunities, and a collaborative work environment, Vonage provides competitive pay and benefits including unlimited discretionary time off and tuition reimbursement.
