Experienced Physician Associate

You will be consulting patients and supporting the clinical team with the diagnosis and management of patients. Our clinical administrator will process incoming eConsults and book into your clinical sessions. The will also be requested to consult patients face-to-face or over the phone as requested by the clinical teamMain duties of the job take patient medical histories during face-to-face and telephone consultationscarry out physical examinationsorder diagnostic tests and analyse resultsmake diagnoses and clinical assessmentscarry out a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the scope of your roledevelop and deliver appropriate treatment and care management plans in consultation with patients, their relatives and carersorganise further investigations, treatment and referral to a doctor/other healthcare professional where appropriateevaluate the effectiveness of care management plansmake home visits to patients who are unable to visit the surgery/hospital due to their conditionprovide patients with advice and counselling on health promotion and disease preventionmaintain accurate clinical recordscomplete paperwork and other administration duties, including writing reports, letters and other correspondence.
