Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Experienced Embedded Software Engineer at Bermondsey Electronics Ltd. The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to embedded software design, development, testing, and reporting. This is a hybrid role, with some requirement to be on site when specialist equipment is needed.
Qualifications
Proficiency in embedded software programming and development
Experience in software design and development
Strong problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of hardware, firmware development, considerations of embedded devices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (CompSci preferred)
Experience in embedded Linux is a strong plus
Any scripting experience is useful (Python, bash, Javascript) is a plus
Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or security sectors is a plus
