Job description
Drayton Foam is a family owned and run business that has operated for over 35 years. We are one of the UK's leading foam converters, and due to increased growth we require additional staff.
We are seeking an Experienced Band Knifer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating band knives and cutting materials accurately and efficiently.
Duties include but are not limited too -
- Operate band knife machines to cut according to specifications
- Ensure precision and accuracy in cutting materials
- Inspect materials for quality control purposes
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Skills required-
- Proven experience as a Band Knifer
- Proficient in operating band knife machines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical condition to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
