Join Our Team as a 3D Character Artist at Record Games!
Located near Worthing, UK, Record Games is an innovative indie studio building a social music game to unleash your inner musician.
We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced 3D Character / General Artist to join us on a 2-3 month contract, with potential for extension. This role will be central in developing our new social music game IP, which features a vibrant, punky, anime-inspired aesthetic.
In this role you will play a pivotal part in leading the development of the game’s overall visual style including character creation, modelling, rigging, skinning and texturing.
5+ years experience in Character Designs and Character Art
~ Proficiency in 3D modelling, rigging, skinning and texturing in industry-standard software
~ Proven experience in creating optimised 3D models for mobile platforms, understanding the constraints and capabilities of these devices
~ Solid understanding of character systems and their implementation in game environments
~ Experience in Game Development (Unity) and working with game assets
~ Ability to work independently and remotely to meet project deadlines
~ Experience in animation and a passion for music are major pluses!
