At Marble, we believe that diverse teams breed innovation.THE ROLEAs the Exhibition Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of exhibition stands across various global locations across EMEA. You will be responsible for coordinating the logistics and operations involved in delivering, setting up, and dismantling equipment for a diverse range of exhibitions.You will be responsible for delivering high quality exhibition stand build not only on time and within budget but also ensuring that we are meeting sustainability targets and delivering a consistently high quality of customer service..This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.RESPONSIBILITIESLogistics Coordination:Plan and coordinate the transportation of exhibition equipment to global locations across EMEA.Manage import and export processes, ensuring compliance with international regulations.Work closely with logistics partners to optimise delivery routes and minimise costsEnsure that logistic operations are sustainable and minimise any carbon emissions caused by logisticsIf required attend on site for set up, live and de-rigTrack project against budget, ensuring that each exhibition comes within budget and margin requirementsLiaise directly with on-site team, ensuring that exhibitions are delivered in alignment with agreed structure and designVenue & Client Liaison:Be the key point of contact for the client in relation to the logistics and operational management of the projectCollaborate with venue managers to understand space requirements and logistical constraints.Develop and maintain strong relationships with venue contacts to facilitate smooth operations.Coordinate the setup and dismantling schedules with venue timelines.Coordinate with client on site requirements and ensure these are booked accordingly.Supplier and Warehouse Management:Liaise with equipment suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.Manage relationships with warehouses for storage of exhibition materials between events.Utilise inventory management practices to track and account for all equipment.Manage Event Manager, checking in regularly on the state of equipment and proactively flagging when equipment should be replaced/repaired.Scheduling and Planning:Develop detailed schedules for equipment delivery, setup, and dismantling.Anticipate and mitigate potential challenges related to scheduling conflicts or unforeseen logistical issues.Actively manage the tradeshow team, making suggestions on ways to improve and reporting back to lead Account Holder when necessary.Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.Problem Resolution:Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to maintain seamless event execution.Act as the point of contact for any on-site logistical challenges during exhibitions.SKILLS & EXPERIENCEExtensive experience of organising exhibitions globally including supplier and logistics managementStrong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.Excellent project management skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with relevant stakeholdersSolution focusedKeen eye for detailWorking EnvironmentWe operate a flexible working environment with a combination of working from home (2 days per week) and working from the office format plus flexible working hours when commuting to and from work.Marble believes that people should love what they do and want to come to work where they can bring their true self and get the opportunity to grow and develop their career.
