Our Team and your Role
We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our newly formed Executive Recruitment team as an Executive Recruitment Partner North America. This role is in the Chief Talent Office COE reporting to the Global Head of Executive Recruitment.
The Talent Acquisition team is responsible for all external and internal hiring (~24K Hires in FY22) into Sanofi. The Executive Recruitment team is responsible for hiring for our most senior leadership positions.
Sanofi US is only considering candidates who are currently legally eligible to work in the U.S. Company-paid relocation benefits may be offered for this position. It is highly preferred that this position be based in Cambridge, MA.
Relocation support may be provided for this position.
Your Responsibilities
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our executive recruitment efforts in North America, contributing significantly to our company's continued growth and success. You will be a cornerstone of our Executive Recruitment Strategy, entrusted with the responsibility of identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier talent. This dynamic role is instrumental in our mission to elevate and fortify our leadership team in the North American region.
You will report into and partner closely with the Global Head of Executive Recruitment to help shaping our Executive Recruitment Strategy aligned with the Business and Talent Strategy. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to foster leadership excellence;
You will be overseeing all aspects of the executive recruitment process for North America;
You will co-create and implement innovative and effective executive recruitment strategies specifically tailored to the North American market to identify and attract top-tier talent with capabilities and skills needed to meet our strategic objectives
You will utilize your strong business acumen to collaborate with senior leaders and hiring managers. You will provide expert guidance on market trends and assist in developing hiring plans that align with our business goals;
You will partner closely with the Global Executive Scouting team & the NAM Leadership Search team to create robust and diverse leadership talent pools with the aim to
convert these pools into executive-level hires;
You are a senior member of the North America Executive Recruitment community & will educate and empower others, share global initiatives, and disseminate best practices;
You will ensure an exceptional “client/candidate centric” experience for all internal and external stakeholders;
You will partner with the Employer Branding team to create a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) relevant for executive talent in North America;
You will work closely with Global and Business Unit Talent Management Heads to ensure that we have a holistic view of the best available internal and external executive talent;
You will co-manage the relationship with and performance of executive search agencies in coordination with the Global Head of Executive Recruitment;
You will bring in a “data driven approach” and showcase ROI through impactful metrics.
About You
As a company, we have identified Executive Hiring & Proactive Talent Scouting as a key investment area. Your key capabilities and skills include, but are not limited to:
You are a Senior Executive Recruitment Partner with proven experience and a track record of successfully placing candidates in senior leadership roles (CXO, CXO-1, CXO-2)
You bring the ability to think strategically and you align executive recruitment efforts with the organization's long-term goals and vision, but you are also comfortable in operations and getting “hands on”;
You have extensive experience of working in large global matrix structured organizations, experience in
global executive search firms is a plus;
You have a deep understanding of the North America labour market and industry trends;
Your knowledge and experience in promoting diversity and inclusion in executive recruitment to build a diverse leadership teams is one of your key strengths;
You have the ability to analyse recruitment data and metrics to drive informed decisions and continuously improve the executive recruitment process;
You are collaborative by nature, have strong project management and organization skills;
You bring exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives built on “influence based” working model; You have a strong executive presence and you act as a partner and advisor to senior stakeholders on executive recruitment matters in North America
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required
A minimum of 12 years of professional business experience is required, with a majority of this experience within an Executive Talent/Search role
Current or recent experience within the Pharmaceuticals or Life-Sciences industry is beneficial
Demonstrated experience within the Recruitment end-to-end executive search process is required
Current or prior experience working with a CRM system(s) is required
Experience in partnering within a matrixed, globally focused team is required
Exposure with managing internal Talent Management processes is preferred
Experience with Leadership Assessment is beneficial; eg . Hogan assessment
This position may require up to 20% overall travel
