(Executive) Director of Wealth ManagementHighly competitive salary and rewards packageSince our formation in 2009 Succession Wealth has grown to be one of the UK's leading Financial Advisory firms and we now have a national network of over 200 Wealth Planners providing high quality, holistic financial advice to a wide range of clients.In 2022 Succession became a wholly owned subsidiary of Aviva and with the backing of our parent company, we now have ambitious, strategic goals in place to grow and develop both our whole of market and restricted propositions, greatly increasing our Wealth Planner population and enabling us to meet the needs of a wider and more diverse client base. We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Director of Wealth Management to join our Executive team, providing strong leadership and management to our Financial Planning community. The Opportunity…This is a rare opportunity to join Succession's Executive Leadership team and play a crucial role in the strategic direction and overall success of our business. Supporting the CEO and working closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategies that underpin business growth.Reporting directly to the CEO, key responsibilities will include:Playing a key role in the strategic development and review process for the Group, challenging assumptions and providing the CEO and leadership colleagues with Planner insights to inform effective strategic decision making and commercial planning.Building clear short, medium, and long-term commercial strategies for Wealth Planners that are clearly aligned to Succession's growth objectives and customer commitments.Operating as a key channel of communication between the leadership team and the Planner population.Working closely with the Group Operations Director to create a positive team culture through the Planner, Client Delivery and Paraplanner teams to ensure great client outcomes and client experience.Supporting the Group HR Director with Planner development.Working with the Chief Risk Officer to ensure that the Planner community are adhering to regulation and meeting quality standards.Delivering Succession Wealth’s ambitious growth strategy; increasing AuA through organic growth, delivered through client retention, lead conversion, business development initiatives, product enhancements and successful onboarding and retention of acquisitions.Maintaining robust governance of the Succession Wealth proposition, including working with the Proposition and Platform Team to ensure solutions, pricing models and products align to the commercial strategy and regulatory requirements and ensure that such elements are communicated to the Planner community.Executing Succession Wealth’s commercial strategy across the Planner community, driving growth across the entire suite of propositions, products, and services.We are looking for an experienced, engaging and inspiring Wealth Management professional with a successful track record of delivering against ambitious growth plans.You will need to have experience of leading Wealth Planning teams of comparable scale, with the confidence and acumen to operate and influence at board level whilst also having authenticity and gravitas in engaging and motivating a highly skilled and experienced Planner population.To be successful in this role, you will also need:A minimum of 5 years’ experience of senior leadership within a large financial services firm.To have circa 15 years+ operational experience within financial services, including experience as a Qualified Financial Planner.To be a strong and motivational people manager with experience of leading multi-discipline teams.Considerable exposure to the UK regulatory environment and comprehensive knowledge of FCA regulations.Strong stakeholder management acumen, capable of clearly communicating and influencing at all levels, using structured and data-driven rationale to facilitate good decision making.Experience of developing commercial strategies and contributing to the broader commercial development of a business.An entrepreneurial mindset and strong drive for results, capable of driving sustained organic growth.Experience of driving strategic and complex change within financial services through inspirational leadership and business partnering.The recruitment of this role is being handled by an external partner, for details of how to apply for this role please email: ######LI-DNI Executive Director of Wealth Management
