Wastedump is a startup that is developing an ehailing web/mobile based application which allows waste generators to send requests for collection and a vetted and verified waste picker responds to that request. We are looking for an Executive Assistant to assist with putting together all the admin pieces as well as assist the Founder with diary/ task management etc.The Executive Assistant at Wastedump will play a vital role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the company’s founder and team members. As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of daily business activities. This is a remote position that requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.Key Responsibilties:Manage calendars, appointments, and schedules for the company’s founder and team members, ensuring efficient time management and coordination of meetings and events.Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and other forms of communication, promptly and professionally, and prioritize messages according to their importance and urgency.Organise and coordinate meetings, including setting up virtual conference calls, preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and distributing relevant materials.Collaborate with other team members, departments, and external partners to facilitate effective communication and information sharing.Take on ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.Requirements:Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a similar administrative role.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative duties.Proficient in using productivity tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, project management platforms, and communication tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and accountability.Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.Once a satisfactory outcome is delivered, we will:Provide a testimonial against your profile on Wastedump.Provide a testimonial for Linkedin that can also be added to your CV/Resume.Allow you to add Wastedump Company Name to your Linkedin Profile.Provide a Linkedin testimonial.DisclaimerThis is a voluntary position, i.e., there is no direct financial compensation, promise of future paid work or any taxable benefit in kind.It is illegal to copy, scrape or download data and information from SkilledUp Life including Volunteer Profiles, Opportunities and Company Profiles without explicit written permission.
