From our Head Offices in Snaith, East Yorkshirewe are driven by our purpose of ‘Smart Science to Improve Lives’ which is livedacross our organisation of over 6,000 staff based in over 30 countries.This is business partnering rolewhich will involve managing the day-to-day operations of the President HR’soffice and calendar whilst also preparing board and executive papers and organisingweekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings, agenda planning, meeting governance,minute taking, pre-reads and managing follows up whilst also providing widersupport to the HR leadership team.Whowe're looking for:
Formal qualifications (degree level desirable) with prior experience working in an Executive Assistant role within a large organisation
Strong personal values and high degree of discretion in all areas of work
Excellent communication skills, able to influence and engage at senior levels within a complex organisation
Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand and influence the work of the President of HR
Highly effective planning and organising to successfully coordinate activities diligently and to required quality levels
Expert level in Outlook and proficient in IT applications including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Teams
KeyResponsibilities
Point ofcontact for all internal and external Customers relevant to the office ofthe HR President
Manage/escalate/delegateissues within the managementchain with clear instructions and deadlines when required. Follow up on actions to ensurecompletion.
Ensure Presidentof HR is well prepared for meetings by preparation and compilation ofessential material in advance and follow up on behalf of
President HR onactions arising
Be astrong team player; be able to communicate and interact effectively with membersof the Executive Committee and Board and to provide full support to peerswithin the EA community.
Proactivelysolve problems on behalf of President of HR where appropriate.
Directdaily itinerary prompting/alerting of subsequent meeting/ diarycommitments.
Assessmentof business priorities and managing diary to accommodate accordingly.
Exercisingjudgment on HR President’s inbox, flagging priority items and actproactively to drive the pace of the business.
Respectsensitivities and confidentiality of information and ensure protection ofconfidential information.
Organiseand manage travel, events and trip schedules as required
