LoughTec is a specialist in the provision of managed IT services and Cyber Security to businesses, organisations and public sector bodies throughout GB and ROI.Operating from an office in Omagh, Co Tyrone, the company offers IT managed services, cyber security and cloud solutions helping protect, support and mitigate risk for businesses.Currently we partner with some of the biggest names in technology and have a client portfolio from diverse business sectors across GB & ROI.Position DescriptionJob Title Events & Marketing ExecutiveDepartment SalesReporting to: Sales DirectorLocation Omagh (onsite)Scope of RoleWorking closely with the Sales Director, the Events & Marketing Executive is a key role within the business that will make a significant contribution to the continued growth of the Company. The postholder will organise multiple events as a key priority for the business as well as marketing via email, social media and general marketing and brand awareness activities.POSITION RELATIONSHIPSEvents & Marketing Executive - Key ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service.Strategically advance plan, organise and execute multiple business events.Successfully present the LoughTec solutions portfolio to the market.Manage and identify added-value opportunities with existing customers.Maintain a customer and market intelligence database.Provide relevant information and data to potential customers as well as presentations, demonstrations and events.Liaise with other business functions such as technical, sales and administration to ensure a seamless customer service.Participate in relevant sales and marketing events to promote the business.Develop and maintain professional working relationships with suppliers and key individuals within the target industries.Keep abreast of developments regarding IT services / cyber security.Provide regular marketing reports and updates on agreed KPIs.Manage all communications and activities through the existing CRM & Diary/Calendar systems.The above list of responsibilities is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the job role.Person SpecificationESSENTIAL CRITERIAA minimum of 2+ years experience within a proactive events and marketing role with a successful track record.Proven experience of acquiring new customers and nurturing existing customers whilst achieving and exceeding marketing driven targets.Maintain customer confidentiality at all times.Strong commercial acumen and customer focus.Ability to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressure.Excellent planning, multi-tasking and organisational skills.People person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to network and build strong working relationships with senior level staff.Ability to work on own initiative and be self-sufficient.Full clean driving licence.Highly competent in MS Office to include excel, word and PowerPoint as well as being technically proficient in various Marketing products, systems, tools and knowledge.DESIRABLE CRITERIAExperience of working in IT and/or cyber security.Other InformationApplications open from Monday 20th May 2024 from 9amApplications deadline Sunday 2nd June at 2024 at 11pmInterviews over the next 10 days (3 stage process)Successful Candidate ideal start date Monday 5th August 2024
