Please do not hesitate to apply – we would be honored to connect with you.Role OverviewThe Channel Company are seeking a Marketing Executive to join the EMEA office who will assist and manage Computing’s portfolio of events and membership – the UK’s leading source of dedicated news, analysis & insight for the UK IT community.The Marketing Executive will implement marketing communications on time and within budget in order to meet business objectives for the aforementioned brands. They will ensure that all product information is accurate and up-to-date at all times and will strive to meet group marketing target and ROI objectives.Your main responsibilities will include· Produce, monitor and control the effectiveness of all marketing and promotional material including flyers, brochures, promotional letters, email and web marketing material etc.· Manage the leads, and monitor the progress of the telesales team and circulate reports to the events team· Manage marketing for website and newsletter registrations ensuring monthly growth· Liaise with relevant departments internally to ensure effective marketing of events at all levels – sales, operations, editorial, design, customer services, customer success· Manage social media networks including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook; promoting the groups to ensure growth as well as managing content and PPC· Closely monitor and report delegate revenue versus target on all events, updating central sheets to ensure accurate financial reporting at group level· Regular monitoring and reporting of marketing spend against budget. Maintaining the central cost control sheets in order to keep an accurate record of costs.· To conduct clear post-event analysis and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities to assist in the planning of future campaigns. To include; booking patterns, financial results, yield analysis, no-show rates, marketing spend, company type breakdowns, data review and channel analysisWhat we value· 18 months+ marketing & events (conference and awards) experience,in B2B· Exceptional attention to detail· Excellent writing and verbal skills with the ability to analyse marketing results· An understanding of Digital Marketing & Analytics· Thrives under pressure and is proactive at coming up with innovative marketing solutions· The ability to work both independently and as part of a team· A positive and enthusiastic approach to your work· A willingness to learn and take on new ideas· A good work ethicWhat you can expect from us:As well as working with the most interesting, talented and fun people, we operate a culture where success is recognized.
