This is the perfect opportunity for somebody looking to gain more experience and boost their CV by working in an international environment.What will I be doing?In this role, you’ll be planning, enhancing, promoting and delivering our student eventsYou’ll ensure we are delivering a high level of excitement with an eye on student satisfaction, supported by an experienced Activities teamWhat does my day-to-day look like?As an Events Coordinator for the Isle of Wight, no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for delivering events of the highest quality and some of your duties will include the following:Creating and updating event plansUsing your creativity to organise and deliver a wide-range of mini-games and competitionsCollating student and staff feedback to improve eventsEnhancing eventsPromoting events across all EF sitesCreating event rotasDelivering event briefings to Activity LeadersLiaising with event suppliersSupporting Activity LeadersOverall responsibility of event safeguardingWho will I be working with?You’ll be a key part of our activities team working alongside our Activity CoordinatorsYou’ll also be working with our summer Activity Leaders and Teachers, taking care of staff welfare and light HR dutiesWhat will you take away?After a summer of working as an EF Events Coordinator, you will enhance your management skills and experience by working with an international team. You will be a proven host, adaptable and capable of solving various issues without hesitation while working under pressure. The international surroundings will fine tune your communication skills as well as organisational and planning skills.What’s required of me?To be successful in this role you need to be:An enthusiastic leader who is creative and a great problem-solverA team player who is conscious about a strong work ethic and culturePassionate!
