By using massive amounts of new satellite data and pioneering work in artificial intelligence, we strive to provide energy and freight market participants with unprecedented access to global waterborne oil & gas operations data - allowing them to identify and capture opportunities in the market before anyone else, bringing transparency and efficiency to the energy markets and helping society as a whole.Having recently completed a $34 million Series C funding round, we are now embarking on a period of rapid growth. The roleWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on event manager to join our high-performing marketing team. Reporting to the Growth Lead, you’ll be responsible for managing our schedule of events in EMEA and Americas - liaising with industry events and partners for event sponsorship/speaking opportunities, as well as running our owned events, including our annual Innovation Series which takes place across various global locations. Key responsibilities Manage the operations for our annual global events, focusing on EMEA and
Americas. Our event calendar covers a wide range of event types including webinars, sponsorship and speaking opportunities, full day events and analyst roadshows Work closely with growth and commercial teams to understand the events and community engagement needed to generate pipeline and deliver ROI across the energy and freight portfolio. Use these insights to create annual event calendar
Work alongside
the campaign marketing team to ensure all content and creative assets drive registration and high engagement in events Liaise with APAC Community Manager on global event and community strategy - looking at ways to take our events and community building to the next level Manage the annual events budget for EMEA and Americas Work with revenue operations team to report on event KPIs including registrations, engagement and meetings held, as well as understanding the overall impact of community activity on the marketing pipeline What makes someone a good fit for this role? At least 3+ years of experience in planning and executing events from start to finish A self-starter, with the initiative and project management skills to execute a busy calendar of events and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maximise results Familiarity with project planning and marketing tools such as Jira and Marketo is useful but not essential.
