p Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity. We're working to revolutionise the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia. But we will not stop there. /p br br If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description. br br p With your support, we will keep going until every person is free from the heartbreak of dementia. /p br br p We exist for a cure. /p br br p b Why we want you /b /p br br p We are excited that Harleyford Golf Club are putting on a charity day on the Thursday 13th June in support of Alzheimer's Research UK. Harleyford Golf Club are hosting a charity golf tournament aiming to raise b £100,000 /b for vital dementia research. In supporting this event, volunteers will help create a fantastic atmosphere and assist with different elements to ensure the day is a great success all whilst raising awareness of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s mission to accelerate progress towards a cure. /p br br p b What you will be doing /b /p br br p Before the tournament tees off roles may include: /p br br ul li br /li li b Parking Marshal /b – helping participants and spectators park safely. br /li li b Check in & registration /b – registering teams, providing them information about the day and selling raffle tickets. br /li li b Driving range support /b – monitoring the driving range. br /li /ul br br p During the tournament: /p br br ul li br /li li b Ball spotting /b –stationed at a hole watching golf balls and locating them for the players. br /li li b Refreshments /b – providing refreshments to participants at the halfway house on the course. br /li li b Raising awareness /b - talking to participants and spectators about the work of Alzheimer's Research UK and dementia. br /li li b Photographer /b – capturing action shots from the day and taking pictures of each team taking part which will be sent to the teams as a thank you after the event. You may be required in one or in multiple locations to showcase the feel of the event. br /li /ul br br p b Where and when /b /p br br p Harleyford Golf Club, Marlow, Bucks, SL7 2SP. /p br br p You will be needed between b 08:00-16:00 /b on b Thursday 13th June /b . There is also an opportunity to do a half day. /p br br p Please note volunteer photographers will ideally be needed 08:00- 18:00.
