An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Event Project Manager (daytime between Monday- Thursday) to join ATT, at their theatre-based learning project in Huddersfield.Purpose of the role: To provide leadership on-site for the delivery team presenting the induction experience to all participants. To provide a friendly and welcoming environment whilst ensuring the safety and comfort of cast and crew, as well as participants, throughout their day at the centre.General Duties:To represent ATT as a host of the centre in a professional, courteous and flexible mannerTo act as liaison, interacting with induction participants, ensuring a positive experienceTo be an effective and empathetic leader of the delivery team, empowering them to deliver outstanding sessions, every timeTo be the primary contact at the centre, liaising with the client on behalf of ATTTo manage all daily delivery processes and manage the freelance teamsExample Tasks + Responsibilities:To be the on-site leader and point of contact for cast and crew on the projectHold morning briefing (numbers of participants, anomalies for the day, identify designated First Aiders / Fire Wardens etc)Managing the usher teamProvide participants with guidance and reassurance throughout the dayStock checking and ordering costume, scripts, props, general kit, consumables, supplies etc / orderingCollaborate with the Technical Manager to ensure the event runs smoothlySupport new company members joining the TRUST delivery teamManage daily administration tasks; eg attendance sheets, show reports, catering orders, name badges etcAssist with interviews, recruitment and training of new crew members as neededTo liaise with other ATT departments (on and off site) ensuring good communicationHealth + Safety:Manage a well-organised, clean, efficient, and safe working environment at the TRUST Centre.To lead on evacuation/emergency procedures.To ensure health and safety of all personnel within the centre.Necessary Skills/Experience:Experience of working in performing arts, events, or venue managementStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levelsExperienced in taking the lead in emergency situationsExceptional time management skillsCompetent with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google DriveExperience in a customer service roleA confident and positive approach; skilled at communicating in challenging situations or environmentsExperience working in a busy environment (eg arts venue)Excellent supervisory skills or experience managing a teamA keen interest in performing arts, events, production, or stage managementAbout ATTActive Training Team are innovators in safety leadership.
