We are working with a family-run event childcare provider with over 30 years of experience, servicing conferences, exhibitions, festivals, fun days, and events across the UK and Europe.
They are dedicated to delivering outstanding ‘edutainment’ and prides itself on creating imaginative play, holistic learning, and enchanting storytelling experiences. They operate under the governance of relevant registered bodies, such as Ofsted in England, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety.
It’s a small business and you will work very closely with the three Company Directors, becoming the crucial link between them and the operational side of the business.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your management skills and work towards a senior leadership position in a rapidly expanding team. You’ll be part of a close-knit, passionate team that values Curiosity, Compassion, Connection, and Self-appreciation.
You will oversee the seamless execution of all events, ensuring client expectations are met and our high service levels are upheld. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining event plans, schedules, and task lists, delegating tasks to team members, and ensuring deadlines are met.
You will liaise with clients, venue managers, catering managers, parents, and our team to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional services. Regular reporting to Company Directors and refining our service through post-event evaluations will be essential parts of your role.
Please note that this is an office-based position in rural Buckinghamshire with no public transport links, although flexible working options are planned for the future. You will be required to visit sites as part of this role, so an ability to travel in the UK and internationally is important.
From a salary perspective, you are looking £40,000 – £45,000 depending on your experience. 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays and use of company vehicles for site visits and meetings too. In this role you will be required to travel around the UK.

We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there is no gender bias in our adverts.
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
**The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS with barred list check or provide details of their current DBS check if they already hold one. We also require a criminal disclosure from all shortlisted applicants, excluding filtered and protected offences. Guidance and criteria on the filtering of these cautions and convictions can be found on the Ministry of Justice website or see here. We also undertake an online check, as part of a range of checks on suitability.**
