As a talented Events Manager you will be responsible for conceptualising, planning, and executing a wide range of events, including product launches, promotional events, exhibitions, and corporate functions. The client now has some of the UK’s most exciting automotive brands in-house, including automotive platform Mr JWW, and a collection of luxury automotive brands, including some of the most well-known worldwide.Role ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning and Coordination:Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics, ensuring all aspects are meticulously organisedCoordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to execute events seamlessly, from inception to completionSource venues, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to optimise resources and achieve cost-effective solutionsOversee all event-related activities, such as catering, transportation, audiovisual requirements, and staffing, to deliver exceptional experiencesCreative Concepts:Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to put in place innovative event themes and activations that resonate with the target audienceCreate engaging event agendas, presentations, and collateral materials to support promotional efforts and brand messagingEnsure brand consistency and adherence to corporate guidelines across all event materials and communicationsStakeholder / Team Management:Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and senior management, to understand their objectives and align event strategies accordinglyLiaise with external partners, sponsors, and industry contacts to enhance collaboration opportunities and maximise event impactLead and manage the team of Event Coordinators and delegate tasks where necessary to support the smooth running of eventsOn-Site Event Management:Oversee on-site event setup, operations, and troubleshooting to guarantee smooth execution and attendee satisfactionAct as the primary point of contact during events, addressing any issues or emergencies promptly and effectivelySupervise event staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure roles are fulfilled efficientlyPost-Event Evaluation and Analysis:Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event against predefined metrics and objectivesAnalyse attendee feedback, performance data to identify areas for improvement and inform future event strategiesPrepare comprehensive reports and insights for management review, highlighting key learnings and recommendationsEssential SkillsMinimum 5 years’ experience within Event Management preferably within Automotive sectorProven experience in planning and executing events of varying scales, with strong project management skills and attention to detailExperience working within a Luxury Retail Environment or High-end Automotive SectorImmaculate PresentationA proactive and solutions-oriented approach to overcoming challenges, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentStrong leadership skills with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams, delegate tasks efficiently, and foster a collaborative work cultureProficiency in budgeting and financial management, with the ability to develop and adhere to budgets while optimising resources and controlling costsExperience of working within a fast-paced environmentAbility to create and set the Events strategy around the events calendarStrong communication skills both verbal and written, and able to liaise with multiple touchpoints across the businessGood analytical skills to assess, develop and improve on future eventsProficient in using all Microsoft Packages to an advanced levelEfficient problem solver and ability to demonstrate great leadership skills to motivate and lead the events teamMust have IDLR/ Full right to work in UK- Sponsorship will not be provided.
