Calling all Event enthusiasts! Are you a seasoned Events professional looking for your next opportunity to curate unforgettable experiences with a lasting impact? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Charity in North Leeds for an Event Manager to join the team.

We are on the lookout for someone with infectious energy and drive, able to bring your expertise to the table to be a driving force behind an exciting lineup of events.
What you’ll be doing as the Event Manager:
Collaborating with the CEO and Head of Events to curate an ambitious and strategic roster of charitable initiatives, aiming for maximum exposure and impact.
Conducting comprehensive research and analysis to pitch creative event and fundraising ideas.
Developing and delivering reports and presentations, and collating data for effective reporting purposes.
Coordinating with external stakeholders including suppliers, businesses and community groups, venues, investors etc.
Procurement of all required equipment and resources for events, processing purchase orders and responsible for overall budget management, providing expenditure reports to the CEO/Head of Events.
Engaging closely with third parties for appeals and applications.
Serving as the charity’s ambassador at major events.
Fostering internal relationships across all departments including programmes and marketing, and cultivating external partnerships with a range of stakeholders.
Day-to-day leadership of a small in-house Events team.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in an Events role for 3+ years, able to demonstrate clear examples of spearheading and managing a diverse portfolio of events.
Ideally some leadership experience; this role will support and lead a small team day-to-day.
Attitude is key – the team are looking for someone to match their passion, enthusiasm, work ethic and energy. This isn’t your ‘normal’ job, and the role requires a truly resilient, diligent, and adaptable individual always willing to go the extra mile.
Exceptional planning and organisational acumen, adept at documenting and tracking programs, expenses, and plans.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong numerical and reporting capabilities.
Ability to operate independently within your role while seamlessly integrating within a broader team framework.
Proficiency in multitasking and managing a varied workload, maintaining a calm approach under pressure.
