Job Description
This successful and highly regarded global research agency is looking for a senior specialist to lead on major evaluations which inform policy and service delivery across all aspects of crime, justice, security and migration.
This role will see you directing some of the most impactful, challenging , high profile and sensitive evaluation studies across all aspects of
crime
(including domestic abuse, serious violence, youth crime, modern slavery),
justice and the justice system
(including victim support, policing, prisons, courts, restorative justice),
security threats
(including cyber crime, extremism, state threats) and
migration
(all aspects of regular and irregular migration, refuges, integration, cohesion).
Working alongside key government departments, you will be responsible for creating and leading large, multi-strand evaluations (process, impact and economic), working closely with client and partner stakeholders, as well as internal teams both in the UK and internationally. Your focus will be on ensuring the highest quality outputs, and on delivering work on time and to budget.
The commercial side is a key part of this role: writing winning proposals and identifying opportunities for continued growth, supported by the wider team. As a senior person in the team, you will contribute to the overall team strategy and plans.
Opportunities abound for profile raising – speaking at conferences and seminars and multi-media marketing – as well as for thought leadership.
For this role, we need to see established process and impact evaluation experience, experience of running major evaluations which coordinate partnerships and collaborations, established mixed methods research skills and knowledge of and experience in this policy area. Project management and leading winning bids are both critical to success here.
As well as the opportunity to work on some of the most important evaluations in these critical areas, you will work with highly respected experts, both internally (this agency is very much “full service”) and within partner organisations. You will be in a team which is motivated and dynamic, in a culture where you are given head-space and autonomy and which offers both brilliant learning opportunities and a very strong and flexible package.
This client is open to full time and 4 days/week. Competitive salary and package on offer.
