Job Description
Job Responsibilities
• Manage the installation pipeline – from site identification ready for installation to Commissioning
Preparation
• Contribute to site selection and configuration.
• Confirm site power availability (directly or indirectly).
• Estimate site cost, manage and improve these costs throughout the installation.
Readiness
• Prepare installation safety pack for the boroughs and validate them with the Site and contractor supervisor
• Secure permits from boroughs (section 50, parking permits)
• Schedule installations according to supplier’s availability
Parts
• Prepare work packs for contractors
• Allocate CPs stock to projects as they become confirmed (“fluid”).
• Work with the Greenford team who manage the stock of hardware
• Manage and replenish installation consumable stock and order as appropriate to satisfy the plan.
Delivery
• Control delivery quality with civil supplier supported by the site and contractor supervisor.
• Act to ensure installation blockers are removed safely.
• Support B2B installation with sites evaluations and quality management.
Review and documentation
• Manage quality of installation tracker, including drawing and site traceability
• Suggest and implement improvement (cost, timing, people) whilst ensuring appropriate change management.
Qualifications/Skills Required
• Engineering degree (good to have)
• Safety management understanding
• Project management
• Civil or electrical engineering
• On-street furniture installation and operation management
• Stakeholder management / Governmental or Local authority interactions
• Office suite
• Experience in EV Charging
• DNO/IDNO experience would be a plus
