European Road and Air Freight Operator

Location: St. Albans

Salary: up to �38,000 (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 17:30pm)

An exciting, new opportunity for a European Road and Air Freight Operator is now available in St. Albans.
If you have previous experience working as a Freight Operator or Coordinator for a UK based Freight Forwarder and have a background working with European Road Freight and/or Air Freight, this role will be great for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Client liaison for the European Road and Air freight client base.
• Freight quotations for export and import freight shipments.
• Completing operational administration, including customs clearance formalities, for clients and suppliers.
• Managing the European Road and Air freight consignments in transit through to successful completion and delivery.
• Invoicing out and completing the job files.

Requirements:

• 3 years' freight forwarding experience in European Road Freight and/or Air Freight.
• Experience working for a UK Freight Forwarder.
• Customs clearance experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
