EU Transport Planner

This role calls for a highly organised and detail-oriented EU Transport Planner to manage the planning function within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, optimising, and executing transport routes, as well as analysing and presenting data.

Description

The role of EU Transport Planner will involve:

• Working Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00 (flexibility required).
• Planning and optimising transport routes for efficient delivery.
• Coordinating with the wider logistics team to ensure smooth operations.
• Analysing and presenting data.
• Ensuring compliance transport regulations.
• Contributing to the development of transport strategies and procedures.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and report on transport performance metrics.

Profile

A successful EU Transport Planner should have:

• Proficiency in transport management software and systems, ideally Paragon.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
