EU Road Freight Coordinator

Road Freight Coordinator - Hayes - Up to �33,000

The role is dealing with the processing of consignments arriving to the UK by road from Europe. The role of a Road
Freight Coordinator would suit someone who is keen to challenge themselves.

Office hours: 09:00am - 17:30pm

Type: Permanent

Location: Hayes, UK - this role allows hybrid working after training/probation.

Salary: �24,000 - �33,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)

The Role: Heavily involved with queries on a day to day basis, managing all communication related to work-files. Ensuring communication on all shipments is carried out seamlessly to ensure smooth freight operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with destination offices and customers to arrange shipments
• Book-in shipments on the In-house system
• Prepare files ready for customs entry
• Complete customs entry
• Arrange deliveries if required
• Complete invoicing on shipments
• Raising and Discharging any freight that is moving on T1
• Assist senior Supervisor, Assistant Manager and Line manager where required

Skills & Competency:

• Previous experience as a Road Freight Coordinator or in a similar role preferable (experience in freight over two years)
• Quality organisational skills and ability to manage many tasks or projects at the same time.
• Ability to prioritise own workload but also be able to work as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Conversant in IT skills e.g., Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and CRM systems.
• Demonstrate working administrative background
• Must have an analytical skill, with a high level of attention to detail.
