Estimator

My client, a well established and successful roofing company are currently on the lookout for an estimator with roofing experience based in Teesside are currently on the looking out for an estimator with flat roofing experience.
The Role
Manage the tender/quotation process from initial enquiry to submission with a high degree of success in winning profitable business.
Produce clear & accurate tenders/quotations, programmes of work, payment applications & accurate project cost analysis records.
Support project management throughout delivery.
Populating bills of quantities and producing take offs.
Develop both product and service knowledge to represent the company to the highest of standards.
Working closely with Contracts, Commercial & Office departments throughout.
Generate new clients, as well as managing the existing client base.
Responsibilities and Duties
Estimating contract opportunities at all values and from a variety of client types including private developers, house builders, local authorities, government departments and domestic clients etc.
Ensuring the quotations allocated are completed to a high standard in a manner that optimises profitability.
Proactively seeking feedback on tenders and quotations submitted to ensure market position is assessed on a continual basis.
