Salary GBP30-55,000 + package 25 days holiday Training and progression within a family run business
A family run main contractor in Hertfordshire are looking for a Assistant Estimator or Intermediate Estimator to be based from their offices. They have a loyal/stable workforce and are financially secure. This position is available due to growth They get lots of repeat business (roughly 75% of their work is repeat business)They have a full order book for this year and work secured for next year This company will offer you exposure to a variety of schemes and the opportunity to be a big part of the business You will benefit by working close to the construction process, and will be trained by a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, who has been with the company for a number of years The Role Assistant Estimator / Intermediate Estimator
As an Estimator, you will be assisting on a range of commercial schemes, ranging from education, local authority, commercial, healthcare, commercial to residential conversions up to circa GBP6m Current schemes include:
7 storey apartment block New build / refurbishment of a hotel worth GBP4.6m Church refurbishment and extension worth GBP1.4m School extension and refurbishment worth GBP1.5m The right person: Estimator
You will have 2 years or more experience working as an Estimator Candidates from main and subcontractor background are invited to apply
