Job Description: We are hoping to speak to skilled Estimators, to see if it's worth�joining our client's dynamic team, to grow and develop with the business.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the profitability and growth of our projects by accurately forecasting the costs, resources, and labor needed for new roofing and cladding installations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates by analysing plans and specifications and identifying key cost factors, such as time, materials, and labor expenses.


• Collaborate with involved parties to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.


• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.


• Consult with industry experts to discuss estimates and resolve issues.


• Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors and negotiating contracts.


• Conduct site visits and gather information to inform estimates and project execution.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a construction estimator or similar role.


• Preferably a good understanding of industrial roofing and cladding systems.


• Proficient with estimating software and data analysis.


• Communication and negotiation skills.


• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and mathematical skills.


• Preferably able to read architectural and engineering drawings.
