Job Title: Estimator

Location: East London

Duration: PERM

As they continue to expand and take on new challenges, they are seeking a talented Estimator to join the team and contribute to the success.

Estimator is required for a new build project based in the East London to work on a mixture of new build educational & public sector projects with values of schemes ranging between �1 - �15 million.

Performance Objectives

• Responsible for calculating the cost of the project covering everything from materials, labour, equipment hires, transport costs and everything in between
• Prepare quotes and documentation for submission
• Client relationship building
• Updating controlled sites/Cost plans through quarterly reviews
• Researching, sourcing, negotiating, and obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

Person Specification

• The right candidate will need to have good experience in taking the lead role in estimating schemes from �1-�15 m within education, healthcare and public sector.
• Ideally the candidate will have experience in doing high level cost estimates on schemes for feasibility. The right candidate will also be capable of completing quality submissions on tenders (With assistance from a Construction Manager where required).

My client is looking to pay a competitive basic salary including car allowance, travel and pension with the position looking to start ASAP but the client is happy to wait if the candidate has a notice period.
