Estimating Manager

As the Estimating Manager for Vital Heating Solutions, you will be responsible for the financialmanagement of our Commercial and Domestic projects, recognising viable new opportunities andcompiling tenders to successfully win new business. You will negotiate and agree on new high-valuecontracts for the company.

Managing client relationships, identifying opportunities for new contractsAnalysing data and creating reports to identify areas of business growthBid on new projects and negotiate contract termsIn-depth knowledge of the industryMonitoring project profitabilityWorking alongside project managers and the company Director, and the Assistant Director
Key Responsibilities;
Managing client relationships, identifying opportunities for new contractsAnalysing data and creating reports to identify areas of business growthResponsibility for margin confidence, Commercial and Domestic risk and cash flow of multipleprojectsManage Commercial and Domestic contracts within the business and clients from the initial enquirythrough to completionUnderstand the requirements of the customers and ensure that projects are managed to satisfythose requirementsProviding Commercial and Domestic assurance of project margin performance through accurateforecasting and identification of issues giving rise to commercial riskManagement of Commercial and Domestic performance (KPIs), cash flow, and margin management(commercial value creation) and commercial risk on projectsSupport the project delivery team in the direction of the contract, by visiting clients, attendingmeetings and visiting projects sitesIdentify any potential issues and provide relevant reports and actions
Key skill sets;
Ability to assist the business to achieve and exceed profitability targets. Commercial awareness isrequired to assess margin, risk and cash flowExtensive experience of managing Commercial and Domestic contracts with clients is essential.Demonstrating your knowledge and your experience in the construction industry is essential. Theindividual will have appropriate qualifications, and professional membership and hold a valid CSCScard.Ability to operate successfully in a Commercial and Domestic environment and previous experienceof managing project Commercial and Domestic performance is essential.A competitive package is available. Salary is dependent on experience.
